Who knew a little bit of snow could throw Chicagoans for a loop? Due to the first sticking snow of 2017, we’ve postponed the referee society meeting originally scheduled for March 14 to March 28. All other details remain the same—we’ll meet at The Rugby Club at 3614 N. Damen at 7:00pm.
Block off your calendars on Tuesday, March 28, starting at 7pm. We are hosting our first development session of the year, a refresher on U19 laws and managing the breakdown. Since we are starting the high school rugby season, we feel it would be beneficial to have a refresher on the U19 law variations. It has also been identified that managing the tackle during the match is a challenge area so we will be going over the breakdown.
We will be at The Rugby Club in Roscoe Village/Lakeview area of Chicago. (Damen & Addison) starting at 7pm. Come out for a beer, good company, and a beneficial knowledge share. If we have referees under the age of 21, you are still welcome to join, we have a private room. I will resend the meeting notification to the proper group.
