Meeting Minutes
If you missed the last In-Person meeting in June… then that’s your loss. You can bring yourself up to speed by reading the minutes: CARFU RS General Meeting Minutes – 6.07.2026. Congratulations to all those who participated in the Bronco. Special shout out to Pete McHugh as the oldest to run… and no need for the defibrillators. You’re setting a high bar, Pete!
MONTHLY MEETINGS: I am setting up virtual meetings through the fall. It will be one per month through the end of the year on the third Monday of the month at 7:30pm. Meeting link is on the calendar and here – Video call link: https://meet.google.com/wvj-uaae-csd

Arbiter Scheduling is now open. Get in and start blocking your availability now. Laura will start assigning before you know it.
Upcoming Elections: Call for Nominations
No, this is not the mid-terms, this is the FULL TERM. When we hold our next Annual AGM (in January or February) we will have elections for both the President and Treasurer.
The new president will then need to appoint their officers:
- Referee Development & Retention Officer (RDRO)
- Referee Assignment Officer (Assignor)
- Referee Recruitment Officer (RRO)
If you are interested to nominate yourself or anyone else, please reach out to David Zaccaria as the chair of the Nominating Committee (vicepresident@carfu-rs.com). Please submit your nominations early so the Nominating Committee can do their job.
Learn more about the board and all of the positions in our By-Laws. We encourage any and all participation in your society. If you are interested in participating – at any level! – please contact any of the current board members and officers to discuss. There is always a need for general volunteers.
Help us grow and improve. DO NOT assume someone else will do it!! As Hillel the Elder said, “If not you, who? If not now, when?”
